The 50th Anniversary Season is upon us and we are actively seeking Part Time Employees for a number of positions.  Interested parties must complete this Employee Application Form and submit the form to Angie at the Speedway Office.  Positions available are detailed below.

Front Gate Ticket Window
– Responsible for serving the general public by selling event related tickets
– Responsible for cash management and compliance
– Operates a cash register and/or credit card equipment
– Excellent mathematical, multitasking and computer skills
– Greet customers entering the establishment; providing excellent customer service
– Supports marketing and promotional projects for ticketed events
– Occasionally supports event site ticket sales as needed
– Distributes literature to patrons and answers questions in response to inquiries about events
– Assists with closing of the ticket booth including preparation of cash deposits
– Works independently as well as in a team environment
– Works occasionally unsupervised
– Possesses good analytical, interpersonal, and customer service skills
– Knowledge and/or interest of track events and programming
– Possess excellent public relations and communications skills
– Ability to work accurately with attention to detail in a high volume sales environment
– Ability to stand for 4-6 hrs continuously
– Ability to work in a hot, humid, outdoor, dusty, and loud atmosphere
– Able to work every Saturday night starting the end of April until October, including some Fridays and Sundays when needed
– Minimum wage

In-Stand Selling
– Check food for accuracy
– Responsible for Customer Service and interacting with race fans
– Ability to work accurately with attention to detail in a high volume sales environment
– Serve each customer respectfully, swiftly and effectively with an honest, positive, friendly and exuberant attitude
– Able to work with little supervision
– Able to stand, walk and climb bleachers for 4-6 hrs continuously
– Ability to work in a hot, humid, outdoor, dusty, and loud atmosphere
– Able to work every Saturday night starting the end of April until October, including some Fridays and Sundays when needed
– Minimum wage or Commission (TBD)
– Collects payments by accepting cash from customers; making change for customers
– Able to balance cash apron by counting cash at the beginning and ending of work shift
– Excellent mathematical, and multitasking skills
– Outstanding customer relation skills and ability to ensure customer satisfaction
– Ability to lift and carry up to 10lbs for long periods
– Occasionally supports event site ticket sales as needed
BBQ, Fryer, Cook
– Greet customers entering the establishment; providing excellent customer service
– Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
– Cook food, to order, or keep warm until sold
– Ability to work on several different orders simultaneously
– Maintain health, sanitation and safety standards in work areas
– Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grill and deep fryers
– Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity
– Clean, stock and restock workstation areas
– Take food and drink orders and receive payments from customers when needed
– Ability to work accurately with attention to detail in a high volume sales environment
– Serve each customer respectfully, swiftly and effectively with an honest, positive, friendly and exuberant attitude
– Able to work with little supervision
– Able to stand for 4-6 hrs continuously
– Ability to work in a hot, humid, outdoor, dusty, and loud atmosphere
– Able to work every Saturday night starting the end of April until October, including some Fridays and Sundays when needed

– Assist cashiers

– Ability to work accurately with attention to detail in a high volume sales environment

– Balances cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and ending of work shift
– Ability to resolve customer complaints, before escalating to a Supervisor
– Serve each customer respectfully, swiftly and effectively with an honest, positive, friendly and exuberant attitude
– Able to suggestive sell
– Take customers order at the counter
– Pack food items, make coffee and fill beverage cups
– Excellent mathematical, multitasking and computer skills
– Ability to work on several different orders simultaneously
– Maintain health, sanitation and safety standards in work areas

Hostess / Fan Relations
