Five Rookie 1 drivers took the green flag for their main event and it was polesitter Carson McKee who led the field early. The pace was slowed on lap four when Ryan Greig’s No.48 kart slowed to a crawl with mechanical problems. When the race resumed, McKee had to outrun a determined Lexi Lucas for six laps and did so successfully for his first win of the season. Lucas and Jace James completed the podium.

Rookie 1 Results (10 Laps): 1. 66 Carson McKee, 2. 74 Lexi Lucas, 3. 99j Jace James, 4. 03 Brooklyn Bowers, 5. 48 Ryan Greig.

The Rookie 2 feature produced arguably the best race of the night. Nathan Shorts and Carson Lemanis collided on lap two to bring out the first yellow flag. Lemanis jumped to the lead on the restart, but had to battle with Emma Terpstra for the point position. Despite her best efforts, Terpstra couldn’t wrestle the top spot away from Lemanis before the checkered flag. Koen O’Hara completed the top-three.

Rookie 2 Results (10 Laps: 1. C1 Carson Lemnis, 2. 22 Emma Terpstra, 3. 83 Koen O’Hara, 4. 20 Nathan Shorts.

The Junior Sportsman 1 race was tame, but racey affair. Keira Turner started on the pole for the 15-lap main event, but was quickly under pressure from James Markland in kart No.21. Turner, however, anchored her No.92 kart to the bottom lane and led all 15 laps for her first victory o the season. All four regular drivers in the division have now earned at least one win this season.

Junior Sportsman 1 Results (15 Laps): 1. 92 Keira Turner, 2. 21 James Markland, 3. 55 Carson Down, 4. 35b Brendan Moore.

Junior Sportsman 2 competition was also action-packed with polesitter Holly Denard pacing the field early on ahead of second starting Kaitlyn O’Blenis. Third-place drive Cole McKeown repeatedly tried a crossover move to get past O’Blenis for the second position, but couldn’t find enough room on the bottom. O’Blenis, however, did find a way around race leader Denard on lap 11 with a bump and run move exiting turn two to take the lead. She paced the final four laps for her second win of the season.

Junior Sportsman 2 Results (15 Laps): 1. 23k Kaitlyn O’Blenis, 2. 02 Holly Denard, 3. 11 Cole McKeown, 4. 17e Emily Peterson, 5.48 Chandler Leclair, 6. 07 Raiah Lough.

Kyle Anderson and Nathan Rinaldi duked it out in Junior Restricted action to conclude the night. The third-starting Anderson wasted no time getting to the front as he took the lead on the opening lap. From there, Rinaldi kept pace with the race leader, but wasn’t able to shake Anderson from the top spot. The win was Anderson’s fourth straight in the top division after Rinaldi won the season opening race.

Junior Restricted Results (15 Laps): 1. 17 Kyle Anderson, 2. 3 Nathan Rinaldi, 3. 77 Anthony Rinaldi, 4. 16 Jordan Burrows, 5. 23 Cole Perry.
