As the season is soon coming to a close the September events are bursting with points battles.  Competitors are diligently working on their cars and bringing their best to the track to pound out the last few nights of points.  The tightest battle sits in the Bill’s Johns Comp 4 division with only 40 points separating No. 43 Devon Kippen and No. 44 Tommy Bailey.  They have traded the top spot all year and it looks like their season will be down to the wire.  The Brighton Automotive Thunder Stock Division has seen some incredible numbers all season long.  The strength of this class is incredible and only 55 points keeps defending Champion No. 53 Wade Purchase ahead of No. 72 Doug Anderson.  No. 85 Austin Reid and No. 48 Adam Wells are making great strides to the top and the battles have been fierce on the track.

No. 87 Andrew Hennessy in the Bainer’s OilGARD Anti Rust Canadian Modified Division sits in a dominant lead but less than 150 points separate second to fourth and it will all come down to the wire.  The Vanderlaan Building Products Late Model division sees that same as No. 57 Charlie Sandercock holds a significant advantage in the point standings.  Its No. 46 Brandon Mowat in the runner up spot that with is holding tight against No. 29 Phil Potts, No. 55 Brad Rayner and No. 5 Steve Baldwin as they all inch their way up in the points battle.

The month of September is exciting as the battles are fought on the track.  With the two day Labour Day Classic making way for the Final points night on September 7th and then the Applefest Shootout scheduled for Friday, September 20th and Saturday, September 21st fans do not want to miss out.
